NOTIFICATION OF PROMOTION OF OFFICERS

 The Commission has graciously approved the 2007 promotion of officers. In this regard, I am under the instructions of the Corps Marshal and Chief Executive to release the promotion of successful candidates as per the attached list.

2. Beneficiaries of this promotion are warned against adorning their new ranks until they are duly decorated by their respective Commanding Officers. Meanwhile, Commanding Officers are enjoined to organize elaborate ceremonies for this purpose, which should be reflected in Command part one orders.

3. The notional dates of the promotion for respective officers are indicated against their names while the financial benefits are with effect from 1 st May 2009.

4. Commanding officers should ensure that Officers who have pending disciplinary cases are not decorated with their new ranks pending the determination of such cases which should be reported to the undersigned.
