NIGER STATE SECTOR COMMANDER PAID A COURTESY VISIT ON THE STATE COMMISSIONER OF WORKS

The Niger State Sector Commander accompanied by Senior Officers of the Command paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Niger State Commissioner of Works in his office on 16 Mar 10.

The Sector Commander, in his address commended the Ministry and reiterated its significance to the activities of FRSC in the State. He emphasized on the deplorable condition of some roads in the State which could cause road crashes and advised them to be road safety conscious and obey all traffic laws.

In response, the Commissioner assured the Sector Commander of the Ministry’s willingness to repair roads within the limit of available resources and to work with relevant agencies to ameliorate the problems in critical areas. The Commissioner called on the Sector Commander to embark on continuous training and retraining of drivers in the State to keep them focused.
