NEW FRSC CORPS MARSHAL TAKES CHARGE

In compliance with a Federal Government directive, Mr. Osita Chidoka has formally taken over the leadership of the Federal Road Safety Commission as Corps Marshal and Chief Executive.

Presenting the new Corps Marshal to the FRSC Management and the Press, the Board Chairman of the Commission, Amb Greg Mbadiwe described Mr. Chidoka as a dynamic and versatile qualification and potentials to reposition the nation’s road safety Management.

Ambassador Mbadiwe also solicited the co-operation of the FRSC Management and staff for the Corps Marshal to start a new course in the Transport Sector.

Responding, Mr. Chidoka said he would be committed to upholding the mission of providing safety for motorists, pedestrians, cyclist and all other road users.

He further stressed that part of his vision would be to place Nigerian road safety administration on the curtain edge of technology with a zero tolerance to corruption.

The Corps Marshal also stressed that part pf priority will be to restore the integrity of the average Nigeria Driver.

Addressing a parade of officers and men of the Commission, the Corps Marshal emphasized that staff welfare and manpower development will receive priority attention even as his Management will embark on reformation of the FRSC to meet the 21st century challenges.

He spoke further on his vision to reposition the Federal Road Safety Commission after the Corps Marshal’s address, Officers and men of the Commission expressed their joy and acceptance of their new boss n this manner.
