This Special Exercise which is targeted on speed violation and intensifying safety consciousness among the motoring on appropriate driving conducts during the rainy season, is coming on the heels of spate of road crashes across the country especially between 26 th April and 18 th May, 2009 when about 128 lives were lost with 15 injured persons in 6 separate crashes along some routes on the nation’s highways.
