GOMBE STATE SECTOR COMMAND HELD A MEETING WITH ACOMORAN BRANCH OF GOMBE LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA

The Sector Public Education and Protocol Officer represented the Sector Commander who was invited by Association of Commercial Motorcycle Riders of Nigeria (ACOMORAN) to its general meeting held on the 4 Mar 10.
The Chairman of the branch in his opening address, commended the efforts of the Corps in sanitizing the Nigerian roads. He also urged all members of the Union to be law abiding and advised Government at all levels to work on dilapidated roads and put in place more road signs.

The representative of the Sector Commander, called on the members of ACOMORAN to desist from unhealthy road behavior that could lead to road crashes such as intake of drugs before plying the road, dangerous driving and overloading. He also adviced them to be using safety helmets while on motorbikes.
