FRSC STAFF INTERNAL SOCIAL WELFARE SCHEME DONATES

PUBLIC EDUCATION EQUIPMENT TO RS11.21, ORE UNIT

COMMAND.

The Staff Internal Social Welfare Scheme of Ore Unit Command of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) has during the month of February 2008, donated a number of electronic equipment to beef up public enlightenment activities in the Command.

Items donated by the Welfare scheme include;

• One (01) Samsung 15” Colour television set.
• My TV Satellite Dish and receiver.
• One (01) Samsung DVD Player.
• One (01) Birla Yamaha Generating Set.
• One (01) Qlink Stabilizer.

These items were purchased through the proceeds of freewill monthly flat contributions of two hundred Naira (N200.00) by the staff of the Command.

Members of the scheme could have chosen to spend this money on merriments or other social activities but they decided rather to invest in the advancement of their Command, the FRSC in general and indeed the promotion of information and education to the general public.

The Corps Marshal and Chief Executive, Federal Road Safety Commission Mr. Osita Chidoka is impressed by this positive development and has sent a letter of commendation to the Staff Internal Social Welfare Scheme. In his message to the staff, The Corps Marshal enjoined staff of other Commands to emulate the good examples of Ore Unit Command.
