FAMILY OF SIX, OTHERS DIE IN AUTO CRASH

Tragedy occurred last Friday in Orji, near Owerri, when about eight people, including a family of six, perished in an auto crash.

According to a witness, the family were returning from a burial and heading to Omoku when a truck slipped off and hit the car, instantly killing all occupants.

The truck was said to have somersaulted about three times until it finally rested. The two people in the truck died instantly. All the bodies were later deposited at a hospital morgue while relatives of the deceased wept uncontrollably.
