ABUJA FRSC GETS A NEW ZONAL COMMANDING OFFICER

In line with the on-going repositioning of the Federal Road Safety Commission for improved service delivery, the Federal Road Safety Commission has effected the deployment of some principal officers of the Commission. Among the deployments is the posting of a new Zonal Commanding Officer to Zone RS7, Zonal Command with Headquarters at Gwagwalada along side deployment of some senior officers of the Commission.

Details of the recent postings indicate that the Assistant Corps Marshal, (ACM) Special Duties, Dick Pere has been deployed to Gwagwalada as Zonal Commanding Officer, Zone RS7.

His predecessor, Danjuma Garba, Corps Commander, has been moved to the Motor Vehicle Administration Department, National Headquarters, Abuja as Head of Section.

Further details of the deployments show that Sector Commander Ebonyi State, Kehinde Adeleye, Corps Commander, has been posted to the Training, Standardization and Certification Department as Head of Section, Manpower Development, while the Head of Section, Motor Vehicle Administration, Hyginus Fuomsuk, Corps Commander moves to Oshogbo Zonal Command Headquarters as Zonal Head of Operations.

In the same vein, HC Pepple Corps Commander and Deputy Commandant at the FRSC Academy in Jos has been transferred to the Road Transport Safety Standardization Scheme Unit at the National Headquarters.

96 other senior officers were deployed as Zonal Heads of Section, Sector Heads of Operation and Unit Commanders, respectively.
