FRSC PROMOTES 239 OFFICERS
In line with its resolve to stimulate career growth among its staff, Management of the Federal Road Safety Commission has promoted 239 officers to the next level of their ranks.
According to the FRSC, the affected officers were among those who sat for promotion examinations and physical test at the FRSC Academy in Jos between 25-28 February, 2008.
Details of the promotion indicate that 7 officers were promoted to Corps Commanders while 28 others were elevated to the rank of Deputy Corps Commanders. 136 officers were also promoted to Assistant Corps Commanders even as 68 others moved up to the rank of Chief Route Commanders.
Meanwhile, the FRSC Corps Marshal and Chief Executive Osita Chidoka has assured all officers and men of the Commission of an enabling environment for positive growth and career enhancement in line with the on-gong re-alignment and reforms agenda of the present dispensation.
Promotion examinations for other batches of officers and men have been scheduled to take place before the end of the year as part of measures to enhance manpower development and ensure efficient service delivery.
